Charlie Chaplin Douglas Fairbanks

Charlie Chaplin and Douglas Fairbanks decided to do their part in the fundraising and made their way to the Sub Treasury Building. Selling Liberty Bonds in New York City. On the afternoon of April 8, 1918, between 20,000 and 30,000 people turned out to see their antics, the largest crowd ever assembled on Wall Street up to that time.
